Cutting and Rough Grinding Processes

After melting and casting, the product together with the die head is wrapped by the shell mold, which needs to be removed through the process of shell vibration and lifting and casting. As a large amount of dust will be generated during the working process, proper protection is essential to ensure the health of the employees.

Job Description:

  1. Prenatal preparation:

Wear goggles, earplugs, KN95 mask, gloves, and labor boots;

Purpose: To protect production workers from noise and dust inhalation that affects their physical and mental health.

  1. Turn on the device

  2.1. Open dust blower A, pulse B

2.2. Open the compressed air main valve C, and check whether the equipment is running normally, vibration shell pressure is required to be greater than 0.4MPa

Confirm that the equipment has no operating abnormality before starting work.

  1. Loading products

   Place the casting group vertically under the hammer head of the shell vibrator and open the air inlet valve so that the hammer head presses the casting

  1. Vibrating shell

  4.1.For manual shell vibration, turn on the manual switch D

  4.2.Automatic shell vibration, press the double start switch E, the door automatically closes, start vibration shell, pay attention to the reasonable setting of the vibration shell time, too short a time is easy to cause the shell mold is not clean, too long a time may cause the product cracked or deformed

5.Manually clear the shell mold

Use a hammer to pound the sprue bar, repeated pounding until the shell is clean, it is strictly prohibited to pound the casting with a hammer

6.Hanging shot blasting

The products that have been removed from the shell mold will be hung on top of the special blasting racks, and when the racks are all full, they will be pulled into the blasting machine for blasting, and the current blasting time set for our products is 50 minutes.

7.Finish blasting

  When blasting is complete, the product is removed from the rack and placed in a swing pallet to be used in the next process;
